quoting your RMA number for each individual item.

When returning faulty items please ensure that you retain the cables, driver discs, etc (refurbished replacements do not come with them).

THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO ITEMS BEING RETURNED FOR CREDIT (ie; non-faulty items). To avoid potential problems it is recommended that you do not return faulty items until the advance replacement(s) have arrived.

The letter codes at the end of the returns numbers mean the following:

  • C = The returns number is for return for credit only, no replacement will be shipped.
  • N = New advance replacement (of the same type) will be shipped.
  • R = Refurbished / repaired advance replacement will be shipped.
  • U = Upgrade (alternative item, usually a newer version) advance replacement will be shipped (may be new or refurbished).
  • REPAIR = Your motherboard(s) will be sent for repair. If we cannot repair your board, you will be sent another refurbished replacement of the same specification.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR RETURNING PRODUCTS

1. All required fields on this form must be completed.

2. RMA numbers must be clearly visible on the outer transit packaging and a copy of your returned confirmation form must accompany each package.

3. Where more than 1 authorised RMA are returned together, each item must be clearly identified with it's correct RMA number. Failure to comply will result in rejection.

4. Hard Drives, Motherboards, CD Rom drives and any circuit board type product must be returned with sufficient protection for transit, otherwise these may be rejected.

5. Items will only be accepted if complete in their original packaging, with documentation, drivers, cables and accessories originally sold with the product where applicable unless otherwise advised.

6. Static sensitive devices must be packaged in appropriate anti-static bags, otherwise Warranty may be void.

7. Items defaced in any way e.g. additional labels or markings on product or it's original packaging which can not be easily removed will jeopardise the RMA validation.

8. All product returned for credit must be in fully re-sellable condition (Microtronica will determine if product is in re-sellable condition).

9. All RMA numbers are valid for 21 days from date of issue. Fault description must be comprehensive.

10. RMA numbers must be used as your Shipping / Forwarders reference when returning authorised RMA's to Microtronica. Microtronica will not sign for any parcel, box or package unless the RMA number is present on the Forwarders manifest/job sheet as your delivery reference.

11. Product returned under Warranty are subject to investigation by the Manufacturer. Credit will only be issued where fault is confirmed by the Manufacturer which may lead to delays in issuing credit.

12. All memory returned as faulty will be tested. If diagnosed OK, this will result in rejection (A full test report will be returned with the memory).

13. Any discrepancy with your order, e.g short shipment or sales error, must be reported in writing within 3 working days.

14. DOA products must be reported within 30 days.

15. All returned product will be replaced or upgraded whenever possible.

16. Product that cannot be replaced or upgraded will be credited at a price determined by the manufacturer.
